Impact Storytelling

Our feature documentaries aim to inspire, but also to change mindsets in a positive and lasting way. Using science-based impact campaigns built around several of our features, including “The Ivory Game” and “Sea of Shadows”, we have helped to achieve meaningful social, political, and environmental change.

By Working with certified green consultants, integrating the UN Sustainable Development Goals and scientifically evaluated emission reduction targets into our strategy, we maintain a constant awareness of our impact on the planet.

Climate and Sustainability Initiatives

Green Producing

As a major part of our business, green producing is key to lowering our emissions and reducing our impact on the environment. Reducing emissions from our productions is an important part of our sustainability approach. In collaboration with certified experts, we developed green guidelines, which have been applied to our productions since 2022. We have also been measuring and calculating production-related greenhouse gas emissions since 2022. Several productions have been certified under the Austrian Ecolabel (UZ 76), which sets defined environmental requirements for sustainable event and media productions.

Green Guidelines

In addition to our green production criteria, we have developed green guidelines that support resource efficiency and waste reduction across our productions. These guidelines cover areas such as energy use, including the sourcing of renewable electricity where available, the reduction of disposable battery use, and considerations for travel, accommodation, and catering. We also promote the careful use of materials and resources, seek to prevent pollution, and encourage reuse and repair where feasible
