Synopsis

Flowers have a dark secret.

They may look beautiful, passive and delicately perfumed — but beneath their petals lies a ruthless world of strategy, seduction and conquest.

In South Africa’s Cape Floral Kingdom, the richest floral kingdom on Earth, ancient dynasties battle for survival. The Houses of Protea, Erica and Restio rule over a spectacular realm where alliances are forged, enemies are manipulated, and animals become knights, servants or pawns in a much larger game.

But a new threat is ready to strike. Invaders from Table Mountain, aided by the most fearsome of allies: wildfire. To save their kingdom, the flowers will have to form alliances with natural foes and use their enemies to fight the ultimate
battle: THE WAR OF THE FLOWERS.

Blending blue-chip wildlife filmmaking with the dramatic force of fantasy storytelling, this film reveals the natural world from a radically new perspective: the flowers’ own.

Prepare to enter the game of thorns — where every bloom has a strategy, every root hides a battlefield, and the most delicate creatures on Earth fight the fiercest wars.

Never will you see the world beneath your feet in quite the same way!
