A Standout Month for Our Documentaries: Awards and Recognition in June
The month of June brought a wave of recognition for our latest documentary productions. Across major international festivals, several of our films were honored for their storytelling, visual strength, and commitment to environmental themes, from urban wildlife to global biodiversity loss. These awards and nominations are not just a celebration of filmmaking; they are a recognition of the critical topics we aim to spotlight and the collaborative work that goes into making these stories resonate.
Dethroned: Investigative Excellence Recognized

It also won Best Investigative Report & Special Report at the US International Awards, further reinforcing the importance of bold environmental journalism.

Europe’s Amazon: A Deep Dive into Wetland Conservation
Exploring one of Europe’s largest and most biodiverse wetland areas, Europe’s Amazon was awarded the Silver Award at the Deauville Green Awards in the Seas, Oceans and Aquatic Environments category.

NaturVision Special Mentions
At NaturVision, two of our productions received Special Mentions, highlighting both creative storytelling and technical excellence:
-

-
Special Mention for Katavi – Episode 2 in the Cinematography Award category
These recognitions underscore the diversity of our work, from the remote coastlines of Central America to the wild heart of Africa, and the care put into every frame, both in front of and behind the camera.
Reflecting on the Month
This series of recognitions across categories and festivals is a testament to the power of collaboration between filmmakers, researchers, conservationists, and local communities. Each film is built on the work of many, and each award reflects not only cinematic achievement but a broader shared mission: to raise awareness, spark dialogue, and inspire action for our planet.
We’re proud of what June has brought and more motivated than ever to continue sharing stories that matter.
