Penguin Baywatch is nominated for a Panda Award! 🐧

We’re so excited to share that Penguin Baywatch has been nominated for the Scripted Narrative Award at the Wildscreen Panda Awards 2026!

The Scripted Narrative award recognizes outstanding achievements in scriptwriting, and Penguin Baywatch’s unique exploration of the complex social worlds of the iconic bird stood out!

Penguin Baywatch was executive produced by Sabine Holzer, Bertrand Loyer, Martin Mészáros, written by Bertrand Loyer, and directed by Kevin Peyrusse and Marta Sostres.

Taking place on the Crozet Archipelago, Penguin Baywatch is a two-part series that explores their world in lovely detail. Penguins are charismatic and funny characters. They always look as though they are ready to go out to a fancy dinner. They are clumsy on the ground yet extremely graceful in the water.
