This documentary combines amazing visuals with groundbreaking science to reveal how these powerful predators might actually protect the very prey they hunt. By patrolling the beaches, jaguars may be safeguarding turtle nests from other animals that could destroy them, making them unexpected guardians of the next generation of hatchlings.
Using state-of-the-art camera technology, the film offers an intimate look at jaguar family life: from mating and raising cubs to developing a remarkable, beachside hunting strategy.
Coming Soon
“Jaguar Beach” premieres on PBS Nature in November 2025.
Congratulations to all fellow winners at this year’s Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards!
