A Standout Month for Our Documentaries: Awards and Recognition in June

The month of June brought a wave of recognition for our latest documentary productions. Across major international festivals, several of our films were honored for their storytelling, visual strength, and commitment to environmental themes, from urban wildlife to global biodiversity loss. These awards and nominations are not just a celebration of filmmaking; they are a recognition of the critical topics we aim to spotlight and the collaborative work that goes into making these stories resonate.

Dethroned: Investigative Excellence Recognized

Our investigative documentary Dethroned was recognized for its compelling exploration of biodiversity collapse and the forces driving it.A dethroned tiger cub lies on an ornate, gold-trimmed sofa with intricate floral designs. The luxurious setting, complete with patterned wallpaper, a decorative pillow, and a maroon bolster, exudes an opulent yet melancholic atmosphere.
At the Deauville Green Awards, Dethroned received the Silver Award in the Preservation of Biodiversity category.
It also won Best Investigative Report & Special Report at the US International Awards, further reinforcing the importance of bold environmental journalism.

Wild Vienna: Nature Thriving in the Urban Landscape

Wild Vienna shows that wildlife can thrive even in the heart of a city. This unique perspective on urban nature earned the film the Nature & Wildlife award at the International Awards, highlighting the growing relevance of nature conservation in metropolitan environments.

A wild fox strolls along a gravel path before a grand, yellow building in Vienna, its tiled roof adorned with ornate details. The dusk sky is pink-tinged as green hedges frame the scene, where a few people are visible in the background.

Europe’s Amazon: A Deep Dive into Wetland Conservation

Exploring one of Europe’s largest and most biodiverse wetland areas, Europe’s Amazon was awarded the Silver Award at the Deauville Green Awards in the Seas, Oceans and Aquatic Environments category.
The film sheds light on the critical role that river systems and wetlands play in maintaining ecological balance, and how they are under increasing threat.

Two deer stand in shallow water surrounded by green reeds and white water lilies in Europe's Amazon. They munch on aquatic plants, with one looking toward the camera. The setting is a lush wetland with vibrant green vegetation, akin to a natural European marketplace bursting with life.

Nature’s Return: A Finalist Recognition

Nominated as a finalist in the Nature & Wildlife category at the US International Awards, Nature’s Return celebrates the quiet resilience of nature. It tells the story of ecological restoration and the human efforts working alongside natural systems to bring life back to degraded landscapes.

These recognitions underscore the diversity of our work, from the remote coastlines of Central America to the wild heart of Africa, and the care put into every frame, both in front of and behind the camera.

Reflecting on the Month

This series of recognitions across categories and festivals is a testament to the power of collaboration between filmmakers, researchers, conservationists, and local communities. Each film is built on the work of many, and each award reflects not only cinematic achievement but a broader shared mission: to raise awareness, spark dialogue, and inspire action for our planet.

We’re proud of what June has brought and more motivated than ever to continue sharing stories that matter.
